Policy Statement
This policy outlines the responsibilities for administering prescribed medication to students during school hours or extended EOTC events. KingsGate School recognises that, in certain circumstances, staff may be required to support student health needs by administering prescribed medication. This will only occur when necessary to maintain a student’s health and wellbeing during the school day and when alternative arrangements outside of school hours are not suitable.
