New Entrant Cohort Entrant Dates 2026

At KingsGate School, we welcome new entrants through a cohort entry system, where children begin school alongside a small group of peers at designated times throughout the year. We have chosen this approach because we believe children thrive when they start school together rather than arriving one at a time. Beginning as part of a cohort helps children form friendships more quickly, settle into routines alongside others who are also new, and develop a sense of belonging from their very first day. Cohort entry also allows our teachers to plan purposeful transition programmes, ensuring each child receives the support, care, and encouragement they need as they begin their learning journey at KingsGate.
