Policy Statement
It is the policy of the KingsGate School Board to establish a performance agreement with the Principal each year and review the Principal’s performance on an annual basis, with the objective of ensuring that every student at the school can attain their highest possible standard in educational achievement.

Purpose
The purposes of this process are to ensure the Principal is aware of the board’s
objectives, to assist the Principal’s professional learning and development, and improve/acknowledge performance (i.e. it is about both accountability and development)
The performance agreement shall reflect the school’s strategic and annual plans.
