At KingsGate School, we believe that every day at school matters. Regular attendance is one of the strongest foundations for student success, supporting learning, wellbeing, positive relationships, and a strong sense of belonging. Our Attendance Management Plan reflects the Ministry of Education’s expectation that students attend school regularly and outlines how we partner with families to ensure every student has the opportunity to engage, achieve, and flourish.

Our approach is grounded in our Christian values, PB4L practices, and a commitment to early support and intervention. When attendance concerns arise, we seek to work collaboratively with families to identify barriers, provide support, and promote positive attendance habits before concerns escalate. By fostering a culture in which attendance is valued and celebrated, we aim to ensure that every student remains connected to their learning, their peers, and the wider KingsGate School community.
