Principal's Professional Expenses Policy

Policy Statement
A budget for professional expenses and professional development will be established annually in accordance with the Principal’s professional development plan, as outlined in their performance agreement, and will be included in the budget. Spending within budget requires the approval of the School Board. The School Board must approve any overseas trips for professional development.

Professional development expenses may include, but are not limited to: 
▶Continuing education
▶Books and periodicals
▶Attendance at professional conferences.

Purpose
The School Board is committed to supporting the Principal's professional development and well-being.
