Policy Statement
The KingsGate School's Protected Disclosures policy pertains to staff and not students, and will follow and be updated per the Protected Disclosures Act 2022 (linked below):

Purpose
A protected disclosure is a declaration made by an employee stating that they believe serious wrongdoing has occurred. Staff members making disclosures are protected against retaliatory or disciplinary actions and will not be liable for, but are not limited to, civil or criminal proceedings related to the disclosure.

Note: 6.5 relates to staff. For children, please refer to 5.17
