Uniform Expectations

Wearing a uniform and doing so correctly promotes an appreciation of equity and provides a common social base from which students can begin their learning.  It promotes a sense of belonging to the school and to one another and serves as a practical means of identifying the school within the wider community.

  • All uniforms are available for purchase from The Uniform Shoppe (7A Glasgow Road, Pukekohe). The Uniform Shoppe
  • A small selection of second-hand uniforms is available for purchase at the school office.

Note: terms such as inconspicuous, appropriate, extreme, discreet, neutral and natural are at the discretion of the school

  • Non-regulation clothing must be accompanied by a note or email to the student’s teachers excusing the item. This is short-term, and effort must be made to remedy the situation in a timely manner.
  • All pieces must be named
  • If you are not sure, ask!
  • All exemptions must be submitted to the Principal and may require a letter from a health professional.

Students are responsible for wearing protective aprons (available in the makerspace) or old clothing during activities where uniforms could be damaged.
