Hair Expectations

As a Christian school, we believe our personal presentation should reflect respect for ourselves, others, and the community God has placed us in. Our hair expectations support a tidy, natural and consistent appearance while allowing students to express themselves appropriately. By following these expectations, students contribute to a positive school culture in which our focus remains on character, learning, and honouring God in how we present ourselves.

These are our expectations

• Only natural hair colours are permitted. No bright, conspicuous colours. If in doubt, talk to the Principal before having a change of colour
• Extreme hairstyles are not permitted
• Must be tidy, clean, neat and brushed
• Hair past shoulder length must be tied back (includes half up/half down styles)
• Hair must be off the face; long fringes must be clipped back
• Accessories are discreet, plain & school colours (blue, black, white, navy) for hair ties and headbands
• Ribbons in House Colours are permitted on days that are house competitions
