Primary Years 1 to 6

Primary at KingsGate is a vibrant, caring community where children are known, valued, and encouraged to grow in their learning, character, and faith. Our dedicated teachers bring warmth, expertise, and a genuine love for children to their classrooms, creating environments where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, discover their strengths, and experience success.

We provide strong foundations in literacy and mathematics alongside rich learning across the curriculum, with teaching that responds to the needs and stages of each child. Just as importantly, we seek to develop the whole child. As a Christian school, faith is woven naturally throughout school life as students learn about God, explore the world through a Christian perspective, and discover what it means to know, love, and serve.

Our Primary students are encouraged to be curious learners, kind friends, courageous thinkers, and young people who recognise that their gifts and abilities can be used to serve others. Through strong relationships between school, home, and our wider Christian community, we want every child to feel that they belong and to be inspired to become all that God has created them to be.
