Building Strong Foundations
Years 9 and 10 are a time of growth, discovery, and preparation as students begin the transition from the middle years into senior schooling. During these important years, students are encouraged to develop strong habits of learning, deepen their understanding of core subjects, and explore a wide range of interests, gifts, and future pathways. At KingsGate School, we believe that excellence is built on strong foundations, which is why students continue to receive a significant focus on literacy and numeracy while also engaging in rich learning experiences across the curriculum. As they grow in confidence, maturity, and independence, students are challenged to take increasing ownership of their learning, strengthen their faith, and develop the character needed to thrive in the years ahead. Years 9 and 10 serve as a bridge between childhood and young adulthood, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and values that prepare them for the opportunities and challenges of senior school and beyond.
