Through our partnership with Te Kura, students can access a wider range of learning opportunities while remaining fully connected to the life and community of KingsGate School.

Te Kura provides flexible online learning programmes that can complement a student's KingsGate timetable, allowing access to specialist subjects, personalised programmes, or alternative pathways that may better support their learning journey. This flexibility enables students to continue progressing towards NCEA qualifications while pursuing courses that align with their future goals and interests. Te Kura's personalised approach places students at the centre of their learning, helping them engage with programmes designed around their unique needs and aspirations.

Importantly, students remain KingsGate students throughout their Te Kura studies. They continue to benefit from the pastoral care, Christian discipleship, academic mentoring, and supportive relationships that are central to our school community. KingsGate staff work closely with students, families, and Te Kura to ensure learning programmes are well coordinated and that students are supported both academically and personally.
