My name is Gina Yelchich, and I am pleased to let you know that I am KingsGate School’s new Pacific Nations Community Liaison Person!
This position is new at our school, so I’m looking forward to working alongside all our Pacific Nations families to make sure you all enjoy being an active part of our KingsGate School community. (I am also the teacher of the Year 5 and 6 students in Room 2, 😊)
My role is to help support all our Pasifika families in our lovely school. The following are just some things that I will be doing as part of the position.
I will keep you informed about your child’s learning.
I will keep you up to date with school events, making sure you’re all invited to all of them.
I will be your contact person if you have any school-related questions or concerns.
I will show you precisely what our Pacific Nations students are accomplishing in their learning by posting regular photos and examples of their work on Facebook, Seesaw, and the school website.
I look forward to getting to know you personally and look forward to engaging in talanoa with you this year. Please feel free to see me if you have any questions or need help with anything at school. You can always email me as well at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and support you at school this year.
